The Timeless & Unbowed Event was a great way to bridge divides and bring community together to celebrate the many contributions of North Carolina women from all walks of life, experiences, and professions. It was an honor to share in the occasion with so many great women and to be featured in a publication that will grace the shelves of libraries and bookstores across the state.  Congratulations to Politely Planning for hosting the event and I wish them continued success.

On May 5th 2023, my friend Joan Erwin and I attended the Timeless and Unbowed luncheon, held to recognize and honor the achievements of North Carolina women in their professions and communities.  The venue for the event was at the beautiful Brier Creek Country Club in Raleigh.  A well-dressed crowd of more than a hundred, entertained by a small orchestra, enjoyed a delicious sit-down lunch.  Awards were presented to each of the honorees by our Lieutenant Governor Mark Robinson, a skilled and engaging orator.  The audience learned the ways in which each honoree had contributed to the strength and richness of our State.  I was impressed with the program execution and content.

Quite laudable to embrace diversity, in recognizing the multicultural talented women of North Carolina. Indeed, excellence is not the monopoly of any one race. Dear Politely Planning Services, Thank you for hosting the SE Raleigh Safety Event.  Having lived in downtown Raleigh as well as being a woman, safety is a top priority for me.  The topics were informative and beneficial to the community.  Look forward to the event.
